Tonight Samantha and Jacob are using the computers. Samantha is on MySpace and Jacob is starting his History project that he had 2 weeks to finish (due tomorrow).

I wanted to get a photo of Samantha's vanity table all put together. Now if we could just find space in the room she shares with Olivia it would be out of our living room.

We had our garage sale today. Jason bought us donuts to enjoy while we got set up. I had to put "Not For Sale" on all that stuff behind him and Olivia so people would stop asking how much we wanted for those things that still need to go to the new house.

56/365 Little White Vanity Table

Today I finished painting Samantha's vanity table. Before Jason and I got married, I found this on the curb of my neighbor's house and rescued it. I always planned to paint it and I finally got around to it.

55/365 This Fridge Is Clean

I spent part of my afternoon in the old garage cleaning up a refrigerator we have up for sale on craigslist. If it doesn't sell, we'll try and exchange it for a freezer.

I just bought some new mascara. I had some really cheap stuff that I've hated since I bought it. I can't wait to try this.

Here are our bar stools. The one on the right has the first coat of paint. Every wood chair in our kitchen is being painted black. Now we will have a look of continuity.

New and Improved Layouts

After I got started on this project, I realized that I wasn't happy with my layouts. I ordered the Life 365 Tool Box kit from Weeds and Wildflowers and went back and started over. I've finally completed all of January. I have all my weeks ending on Saturday so my first week is only 3 days. Here are my January layouts.....

Tonight Jason was busy upgrading the 3 computers in the loft. The kids that live here are very fortunate indeed.

51/365 Blog Background Makeover

Today I tried my hand at making my own blog background. It was fun coming up with a theme and then finding things to stick on my "bulletin board". Now I can always change the things that are displayed every month or whenever the mood hits.

50/365 Cake Mix Cookies

Since all the kids are home on Thursdays, I made cake mix cookies. This is the second time...the first was with devil's food cake mix. I will only make them with the devil's food mix from now on.

While Jason sits at his computer, Elvis and I kick back on the bed. Actually, he didn't really want to hang out with me...he's just humoring me.

I went to the chiropractor and received the last 3 patches for my back. These have been fantastic in the aid to reduce the inflammation in my disc that has caused me such pain with sciatica.

I would have titled this one "DO YOU WANT TO SEE SOMETHING REALLY SCARY"
What you cannot see in this photo is the cat's litter box that lives here, too. I thought getting that in the shot would have just been too much for the faint of heart.

Tonight was a small group...just me, Jason, Samantha and her friend Bridgid. We played the game Farkle. Very fun...go google it and play with a group of friends. :)

We have the computers in the loft now and I just need to hang the over sized magnetic board that I made.

I needed a 10 foot long desk in the loft for the kids computers. I figured the best way to get what I needed was to make it myself. Here is the completed project.
