198/365 My 8 GB memory card

Jason found a great deal on some 8 GB micro SD cards. I'll be getting a new phone pretty soon and I'll have this little guy to stick inside. This will give me a lot of space for photos and music.

197/365 Not a video game!

Jacob and Jared have been hanging out in Jared's room a lot this summer. That's because the X Box is in his room. Well, tonight I opened the door to find this... I'm so glad they turned the video games off for a while.

196/365 Netflix

Jason joined Netflix recently and gets 3 movies at at time in the mail. It's amazing how quickly they get your new movies sent to you once they get the current movies back. He can mail them out on a Tuesday, and by Thursday there are 3 more movies in the mailbox.

195/365 Me Time

Today I had a big gap in my day at the salon, so I spent that time doing my own nails. They were in dire need (it had been almost 2 months since I'd done them). And with our vacation right around the corner, I was glad to do it.

194/365 Favorite game

When I get home from work, I need to unwind before I can go to bed. I'm not a TV watcher for the most part, so I'll sit at the computer playing my favorite game...Free Cell.

193/365 Laundry forever

You've heard the saying "If you're dressed, the laundry's not done". With a family of 6 (but only 4 the majority of the time) there is always laundry needing to be done. I really love the LG washer since it spins so much water out of the clothes that the drying time is about the same as the wash.

192/365 Takeout!

Jason and I spent our day once again on the west side of town. In the morning we were at one of my nail client's homes so Jason could set up her new computer. Then I went swimming at Renee's and he went golfing with Darrin at Estrella. On the way home I had to get some Chinese takeout. I love Orange Chicken. This was enough for us to share and still have some leftover.

191/365 Yum Yum

Jason is at work tonight and I'm just sitting around playing on the computer....this calls for a snack. These taste best when eaten with pretzels but since we don't have any, I had to substitute them with saltine crackers. Love that salty and sweet combo.

190/365 Another cat photo

This little beast was attacking Jason's wiggling fingers hiding under the sheets. It's so much fun watching kittens playing.

189/365 Old iPod

I'm not a fan of any Apple product. Today I spent too much of my time loading this old 2 gig iPod with music for the salon. I don't like the fact that Apple is so proprietary that there is NO drag and drop ability with their music player and that you MUST download their iTunes. I'll just be glad it's done now and I can unistall iTunes from my computer.

188/365 Looking Back

Since I've passed the halfway point in Project 365 I was looking back at all the images I've captured so far. I'm truly enjoying seeing my year in daily images.

187/365 Is it hot in here?

Today we noticed that the air conditioner wasn't working too well. Too bad we didn't get the management company called before they left for the day at 4 p.m. and their emergency number is just a voice messaging service. This had us suffering for the night in a hot house. Jason had bought this portable a/c unit a couple years ago and so we slept downstairs on the couch since it was over 85 degrees upstairs.

186/365 Jason's 4X4

Jason sold his Ford F150 yesterday while we were out for the 4th. Luckily his buddy Michael Shane picked him up and drove him to buy a new truck. It looks JUST like his old one, but this one is a 4 X 4 with about half the miles that his other one had.

185/365 Happy 4th of July

Samantha and her dad at the Wigwam Resort. We joined some friends of ours for the 4th of July. We tried to get a room here again, but they were totally sold out so we got a room down the street and drove over for the day. This is just before Jason sold his truck and had to leave to buy a new one.

184/365 Sam's Club

I had to go to Sam's Club for a few things. We can never have enough Top Ramen at our house. The kids would probably waste away to nothing if it weren't in the pantry. Peanut butter, bread, beef jerky, and string cheese are also a must.

183/365 July Desktop

It's day 2 into a new month and I've actually made it halfway through Project 365! So without further ado, here is my July Desktop...compliments of Shabby Princess.

182/365 Bad thing to wake up to

This morning when I opened the door to the balcony to let the kitties out to play, I saw this. They've been building to the left of the houses you see across that street. The noise is awful and they start their daily construction soon after 6 a.m. This is really going to suck!

181/365 Boys & Videos

Jordan, Jared & Reeve are hanging out in Jared's messy room playing video games. He keeps the door shut to keep the noise from the rest of the house and then his room ends up getting really warm. The high temperature for today was 106 degrees and the upstairs always seems to get extra warm, even with the A/C running.

180/365 Monday Madness

I'm a very busy nail tech today. I've got a full book and will be back first thing tomorrow morning for another long day.
