Today I have a late start at work, so this morning as I was sitting on my bed reading, Elvis came and lay down on my feet. Thanks for keeping them warm Elvis.

23/365 2011 Work, Work, Work
Jason has been working on a guy’s computer for 4 days. I think it’s cursed because nothing is working to get it to boot up correctly.
21/365 2011 Pre Haircut
I drove Jacob and Jared out to the west side today so they could get haircuts before going to their dad’s house for the weekend. This reminds me that I forgot to take after photos.
20/365 2011 Cat In A Box
If there happens to be an open box anywhere near a cat, they will eventually be inside of it. This is a nice big box that Jason’s latest computer case was in.
19/365 2011 Latest Afghan
This is the afghan I’ve been working on lately. It’s worked in single crochet, so it’s going to take me a bit longer than my previous ones.

16/365 One of the Boys
I love the kids in my primary class at church. There are only 2 boys in a class of 9 kids & this guy is one of them.
15/365 Yup, That’s My Foot
I’m soaking my big toe in peroxide. I do this every day for about 10 minutes. I injured it somehow, and it allowed for an infection to get under the nail. This is my experiment to see if I can get the nail to grow out healthy.
14/365 2011 Creative Storage
What do you do when you don’t have enough storage in your house? You create your own! Here is what I did with the useless niche in my bedroom. Now all those blankets and seldom used winter wear have a place to live.
13/365 2011 This Makes Me Happy
Seeing this stack of crocheted afghans makes my heart glad. I will continue to make them as long as I find joy in the making. Each of my boys have one on their bed that aren’t in this stack. I guess you can say that I’ve been busy.
11/365 Jacob and Facebook
Jacob is doing what he does best….spending time on Facebook. I am still amazed that he’s half-way through his 17th year. I don’t think I’m old enough to have an adult for a child.
10/365 2011 Finished the Olivia Afghan
It’s finally done! One more blanket crossed off the to-do list. I love the colors in this afghan. So girly, and it’s a nice light weight yarn.
9/365 2011 Sleepy Elvis
He woke up when he heard me getting the camera ready. He must sleep at least 20 hours a day lately. Sometimes I think it would be nice to be a cat.
8/365 2011 Somebody STOP Me!
Is this a blog about crochet? Apparently it is when that’s what occupies my time. One project at a time isn’t enough. I just had to try a new hat pattern I found on Lion Brand Yarn website.
7/365 2011 Yes, Another Hat
I loved the hats I made for Suzee, so I just had to make myself one, too. I’m using sock yarn this time. I really like the way the colors are working up. (The book is Crocheted Gifts by Kim Werker)
6/365 2011 Olivia’s Blanket
Yet another crochet project that failed to be delivered in time for Christmas. I’m SO close to being done with Olivia’s afghan. Just a couple more rows to go.
5/365 2011 The Hat Is Finished
Here’s me modeling the hat. Actually, this is the second hat. After I finished the first one, I didn’t like how thick it was (the pattern called for a thinner yarn) so I made another one….in ONE day!
4/365 2011 Crochet Hat
This is the hat I am crocheting for my sister Suzee. It was supposed to be done in time for Christmas, but I had to wait until the book with the pattern in it was back at the library.
3/365 2011 Elvis Under the Tree
Elvis will be sad when this tree comes down tomorrow. He has thoroughly enjoyed knocking the ornaments off and laying under it.
2/365 2011 I Teach Primary
I have a new calling at church. I teach Valiant 8 (all the kids that turn 9 years old this year). I LOVE it. The kids are wonderful and I am excited for this opportunity.
1/365 2011 Wide Screen + Flat Panel = Happy
Jason and I went out and bought a new television set. We have been planning this purchase for a while, and with the great sales over New Year’s holiday, we finally went and got it.

2011 and the next Project 365
I realized that I missed doing my Project 365 during 2010, and so I decided as that year was coming to an end that I would try very hard to take a photo a day during 2011. Well so far I have managed to find something to photograph almost every day. I have missed a day here and there, but since there aren’t any Project 365 Police, I believe a make-up photo is fine. This is, after all, just a way to document our lives for this year.
After my first go round, I learned that I prefer having only one photo per post. This means that I may publish several posts per day if I am behind.
I hope that you enjoy this glimpse into our lives as captured by my camera (including my Blackberry’s camera when needed).
